Happy Birthday Grammy//Mima!!

I do feel sort of old when I look at these pictures, with 12 grandkids around me but....I know one day I will look back on these pictures and wish I was this age again!!

I could not love or be more grateful for each one of these beautiful children!!!

Surprise Birthday dinner!!

When my mom got to my house to eat Vance ran out to help his Grandma Cita walk in the house! Vance is SO loving and caring! LOVE my Vance boy!!!!!

Hawaii Kauai 2013!!

This is the 3rd year in a row the Hyundai Corporation took there top dealers and General managers to Hawaii. The first year was Kona, next year Maui and this year Kauai! This was our  view from our room! I will take it I guess:)! 

This was the spot I would read my book from! 

6:45 AM It was beautiful on the beach! No one out yet! Just a little sprinkle of rain!! 

At 9:00 AM every morning the fish were fed! They literally would come up on the step of the pond to eat the food!!

We were invited to a beautiful Luau! We had a fantastic private beautiful dinner  before the Lusu and then escorted to the Luau for front row seats!!!

Yes this was our escort!!!

This cutie was the star of the show!!! AND yes....she could shake it!!

The last night we had a lovely dinner on the beach! Such a beautiful last night!!

We enjoyed our trip and we are thankful we were able to go and spend a little time together!

Puerto Rico

Tom and I had a fun trip to Puerto Rico with Pam and Tex Earnhardt and I have to say I am the worst traveler but....We had such a fun time! Who wouldn't love being at the Ritz Carlton on this beautiful island!!!

There were 3 pools here in the hotel. 

AND these two boys made sure they were used!!! I will not tell you how old Tex is but he can keep up with Tom Scheurn any day...They loved their work outs at the gym and the time they spent together! Tex has been a great example to Tom since Tom was a teenager! Tom is extremely grateful to Tex Earnhardt! We love you Tex!!!  

We had some wonderful dinners with....

Some crazy entertainment!! 

I was treated to daily spas, and  I loved the ceiling here where I would get my massage!!!! Just a beautiful!!!!

This was the "pineapple room"! Just did not want to leave this room!!!!

The hotel ground was quite spread out so we rode bikes around but....if we were to tired we would just call for our shuttle!!!! 

Each day we had different things to do and on this day, Tom, Tex and Pam rode ski-dos!!!!

 Jesse, in the light yellow shirt works for San Tan Earnhardt Hyundai..... was born in Puerto Rico, So Tex flew him over to be our personal tour guide. But I have to say...Jesse got a little lost up in the mountains one day! But Tom and Jesse were on a quest to find this place below that was on some food channel! after driving for ever and a little car sickness we found it AND it was the worst place ever! Don't always believe the food channel!!!!

Dee and Brian work at Earnhardt's as well! They were SO much fun but as you can see in this picture.....Dee was "over it"!!! Tom was still trying to convince us it was good!! Altho Jesse thought it was fantastic!! I guess you have to be from Puerto Rico to enjoy this kind of thing!!!!

This picture below was after a LONG day of driving and car sickness! Talk about "over it"....I almost had to have a martini with Pam!!!

I am grateful that the Earnhardt's invited us to Puerto Rico!!! We really did have such a nice time! Next time though, We need to rely on our GPS and not a native that has not been to his home in awhile!!!

Father Day 2013!!

I could not be more thankful for Tom Scheurn!!!

Happy Father's Day!!!

We decided to celebrate Fathers Day Saturday night! It is hard to do family dinner anymore on Sundays due to our Young Singles Ward calling. So I decided we would take our kids and spouses to one of their favorite places to eat...Yes the Talking Stick Resort buffet. Actually it is one of Tom Scheurn's favorite places as well!! Posey and Ben ended up out of town and Blake and Tanya came late but we had a wonderful yummy night!!!

It is a blessing to have date night with your kids and their spouse! I love each one of my "daughter-in-loves"! Not sure how other moms feel but... when my sons got married, it was a little difficult to share my sons. Then you realize how grateful you are for the love they have for their wives. This is what you pray for! I am so very proud of Blake, Joe and Walker for the fathers and husbands they have become. I am again so very thankful for the example Tom has been to our boys!!

Vance Turner Cowart Is EIGHT!!!!!

My sweet Vance is 8!!!

I know I always say....I can't believe how fast time goes but....I CAN"T BELIEVE THIS CUTE BOY IS EIGHT!!!!! 

When I look at Vance I can see the special young boy he is!! Vance and I have always had a special bond! Posey and Ben lived with Tom and I when Vance was born. I loved snuggling with Vance! He was such a beautiful, sweet baby! I especially looked forward to that time of evening when Posey would bring Vance into my room and I would give him his nightly bottle. I would just stare at his darling face and squeeze him just about as tight as I could!! Vance and I will always have a special connection! Of course when a grand kid says...Mima, let me open your door for you or.....Mima you are so pretty,...Mima is their anything you need?....Mima I love being with you.....Mima, do you need your feet rubbed..... and the list goes on! This kid loves me in-spite of all my imperfections as a grand mother! I guess what I am saying Vance and I truly have a special connection that I feel we will always have! 

I could not be more proud or happy for Vance on this day! Vance has looked forward to his Baptism more than his presents he received on his birthday which was May 31! For several years Vance has asked me....Mima where do you think I will go on my mission! Vance will always... Argentina, because this is where his dad served but lately I have been able to get Vance to consider....Hawaii, Hartfort CT and Italy where his uncle's have served! Not sure where this cute boy will serve but the one thing I do know is....Where ever the Lord calls Vance to serve, Vance will be one of the Lord's elite!!

I think Vance looks more like Walker's son than Posey's son! CUTIES!!!!! Uncle Rhett LOVES this kid too! Vance is Rhett's wrestling partner! I have never seen a kid that loves to wrestle like Vance! Even when Uncle Rhett finally gets Vance to "tap out". But I have to say Vance is one tough kid....even after Vance has "tapped out" He is still laughing and come back for more wrestling and 'take downs" with Uncle Rhett! These two are buddies! But truly I feel like Vance is a perfect buddy for everyone! Vance is just a tender sweet boy who truly is filled with love!

Vance I just want you to know how very much I love you!!! Pops and I are so very proud of you!!! Mima is so very grateful for you and the sweet special boy you are!
