An Easter BBQ! 2013!

We decided to change up Easter this year and have a BBQ Saturday afternoon! ! As Tom and I serve in the YSA ward it is hard to get together on Sundays now!! I actually liked this better! What a fun afternoon and evening!! All of these cute little people came to eat and play!! (Maebry was sleeping when we took this picture.)
Rhett's first Easter being home was fun too! Can't believe this is my baby! As I look at all my grandkids I know how time flies! Before we know it Gavin will be leaving on a mission!
Lucy LOVS to come to Granny and Pops's house!! She is  sweetheart!
Brogan really likes to have his picture with his mom but was nice to have a quick pose with Mima!! Love you "Brogs"
This cute girl is 3 months already! Auntie Posey did a cute fast glamour photo session!! We love this little "chub"! I could hold her all day and just squeeze her!!
As you can see....Vance enjoyed his BBQ!!
MAX!!! This little kid is CUTE like all the rest but, this age is busy and so funny!!! Max just wants to be so big, AND he is!!!!!
Look at Max trying to hold on to the parachute!!Just not quite tall enough!!!! Even Maebry got in on the parachute fun with Auntie Tanya!!
Yes that is Grammyy in the pink shirt and jeans!!!
YES....That is Grammy's feet...the last to get under the parachute!!
One, two, three, GO!!!!!
I would say if you don't have a parachute for your family get one!! They are so FUN!!!!!

These "cutie pies" could jump all night!!! Gwennie!
Greay!!
Want-a-be 'big boy" Max!!!
"S" is for "super scheurn"!! Love Gage's smile! He looks like he has a joker smile!!
All the kid wanted to ride! AND they are getting good!! Pops has been doing weekly riding lessons and the kids love it!!
Some good friends of ours, the Parkers up in Strawberry gave us this old grey horse they were retiring. His name is Bullet! He is just the right speed... He will get and go if you make him but is so very gentle! We love him! When our kids were growing up the Parkers gave us an old horse by the name of Bart and my kids loved him and rode him quite often! When we were done with him we passed him along to another young boy! So we plan on doing the same with Bullet! But for now he has find a good loving home for a long time we hope!!
Love this pictures! Blake took it of Emma and Lucy! My little cowgirls in the sunset!!!
Before it got to dark... We had a fun game of dodge ball!! Not sure who like dodge ball better the adults or the kids! I think it was the adults!
We ended the evening with a quick egg hunt...Thanks to Pops.... and an Easter lesson!
As I look at this picture I feel so blessed to have all these grandkids! Sometime it seems chaotic and loud and just so busy when they are all at our house but...I am grateful! I read once where President Hickley said...The best part of having all the grandkids over to our house is saying goodbye as you watch the tail lights go down the road! Sometimes I agree with this! But as they leave never once have I not been thankful for everyone of these kids and happy they stopped by! I always say...They each are unique! Tom and I are so very blessed!
After all the play time...Tom sat down with all the grandkids and shared his testimony of his Heavenly Father and his Savior Jesus Christ. Tom talked to them about the Atonement and what it means to him.
I am so blessed to have Tom and each one of my children and their spouses! It means so much to me that these young parents want their kids to know about their  Heavenly Father and their Savior and HIS plan of salvation!
I too want my kids and grandkids to know...How GRATEFUL I am for my Savior. I am so thankful to know that because of the Atonement all of our trials will be worked out. No matter what they are. When I think about Jesus Christ in Gethsemane.....suffering for me and my sins, pain, bad thoughts, stress, anxiety....all of this...I can't imagine what he is going through and then..... to think HE does this for every person in this world.....It is hard for me to comprehend!! Our Heavenly Father and our Savior's love for us is indescribable! THEY did this for each one of us so we could return one day and live in THEIR presents as eternal families! To say I am thankful... just does not seem adequate. I think the best way I can show my gratitude is to try and do my best each day!! With out the Atonement there would be no hope for me!
I am forever thankful to my Heavenly Father for sacrificing HIS SON....and for HIS SON willingness to suffer for all of my sins, so I can return one day and live with my "eternal sweetheart" Tom Scheurn and ALL of these cuties!
