Walker and Melanie were sealed for Eternity in the Mesa AZ Temple, January 14, 2012!
I KNOW, I KNOW, only a very proud mom would post this many pictures on her blog!! I just could not help my self! Melanie and Walker looked so beautiful! I loved having all my children and grandchildren all together, it was just to hard to pick a few pictures!!!!!!
I remember the first time Tom and I met Melanie....Tom and I had to doubt Walker would marry her!!! They both are very simple in many ways and have so much in common!! I think Walker fell in love on their second date or so when Melanie whooped him on the basketball court! Walker said he let her whoop him but...But we all know different!! I think if Melanie really wanted to, she could have made him cry and go home with her skills!! Melanie gave him just enough of a challenge to get him to come back to the basketball court again! Melanie played basketball and volleyball for Mesa High! I feel pretty sure Walker and Melanie's kids will be tall and athletic....But most of all.... DARLING!!!!
We are so happy to have Melanie join our crazy family!!
Tom and I are most thankful that Walker and Melanie chose to be married in the Temple....They are now ready to start their eternal journey together!!!
Walker, Melanie, dad and I love you both very much and we are so happy for both of you!!

One of the first few things I found out about Melanie was....Pink is her favorite color....I knew in that moment I would love her because pink has been my favorite color forever!!!!
Melanie's toenails looked so cute!!! Teal was the other color she choice for her wedding!!

Emma, Joe and Erin's daughter was so excited for this day!!! Emma is a real girly girl and could not wait to see Melanie in her wedding dress!!!
There truly is not one kid in this picture that does not LOVE their uncle Walker!! As Walker and Melanie have been dating they all have gotten close to Melanie as well!! The little girls especially LOVE Melanie and some times they just smother her!!!
As I looked at my family this day....I was humbled and so very thankful! Tom and I are so very grateful for the love we have for another...For each one of our children and their spouse and these beautiful grand children!! Each one of these kids have their own little personalities and are so cute and funny in their own way! Some get along better with me and some get along better with Pops. The one thing I do know is we love each one of them and we are so thankful for each one!! Who would of thought in 1973 when Tom and I starting dating and then married in 1977 we would be here today with all of these darling grand kids!!
My mother,and her husband Ralph!Walker has always been a favorite of his Grandma Cita, and...Cita has always been a favorite of Walker's!! Cita we LOVE you!!!

These boys have all been best friend FOREVER!!! Taylor Conway, Mark Lindblom, Garret Riffey, Devon Winters, and Jared Hatch!! They all went to school together and played sports together!!
These CUTE girls are the wives of the boys above!! Jenna Winters, Megan Conway, Sadi Lindblom and Colby Lindblom all were there to welcome Melanie!! Jenna, who help me cook for the wedding and Melanie's shower, and Colby, went to school with Walker! Megan did all the flowers for the wedding and reception! It was so great to have them at the sealing to support Melanie and Walker!! It has been great fun to see these young people that I have know so long grow up and start their own families!! Love you cute girls!!!
As stressful as some days were prior to the wedding and reception....I think everything turned out so perfect! How could they not with a beautiful bride and groom!!! Melanie made many wonderful decorations for the reception, she is so talented, we are so lucky to have her in our family!!! Many many many thanks go out to my family and friends that helped with cooking, set up and cleaning, we could of not done it without you!! THANK YOU!!!
I want Melanie and Walker to know how very much I love them!! We are so happy for both of you!!
