Christmas FHE!

Mr and Mrs Clause!!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!

Every third Monday night in our YSA Ward the Bishopric and wives are in charge of Family Home Evening!I have to say this will be one FHE we will not forget! 

We had so much fun! The Italian food was "DELISH" and the company was fantastic! We had about 100 young single adults! There were prizes, music AND....

Santa and Mrs Clause even came!!!!

I am so grateful to all of those who spent countless hours in making this night so fun and special!! I feel sure our YSA ward is the best!!!

Anziano Scheurn Is Coming Home!!!

I skipped the sales after Thanksgiving. The thrill just wasn't there.

No pictures taken with Santa Claus, my decorating has no flair.

His presents are shoes, shirts, and ties, two suits and socks...no fun. I've bought him all white clothes because...

This year I'm giving Christ my son.

I've spent more time in the temple, my testimony stirred.

I've reread November's Ensign, Felt strength come from His words.

Our family prays more frequently. My tears are quick to run.

Abraham seems closer because,

This year I'm giving Christ my son.

I wonder how those Lamanite mothers, gave their sons to war?

Or how the pioneers chose Zion, their sacrifice was so much more.

My loss will be his presence, I'll miss his smile a ton for two years we will pray for him,

I'm giving Christ my son.

I stare at his face when he's not looking. I memorize his eyes, their shine.

He's always hungered for the part of him, that makes his soul divine.

The stories and lessons he always heard, His choice and mine are one. I'll put my faith in God's hand, This year,

I'm giving Him my son.

Past gifts have lost their glitter; I think I finally understand Christ's birth should be celebrated by giving Him a hand.

It's because I know Christ lives and reigns that all his packing's done. My gift has taken years to make, This year...

I'm giving Christ my son.

I know there's One who understands, the sacrifice I'm making.

Who knows the gift I willingly give, The toll it will be taking.

For He has done it all before Greater love - there could be none. For years ago God gave to me, His only begotten son.

The hands I washed, the hands I held, The hands I taught to pray; Now knock on doors to find the ones Who will listen to what he'll say. Because I know Christ needs him, Until all the gathering's done, My gift has taken years to make. This year...

I'm giving Christ my son.

Thankful.......2012!!!

Thanksgiving! 

At this time of year we all think about our blessings. 

I am mortal so there are some days where I see my blessings and then there are some days where things are hard and the blessings are not as clear! But I am so grateful that no matter what, I recognize that I am so very blessed! Not because of things... But because of the family I have! Because I know...That God lives....That he sent HIS SON for me.. and my family! I am blessed to know, I am a daughter of God..who loves me!!! I am blessed with a mom and dad who loves me! I am so blessed to of met and marry the love of my life...Tom Scheurn! I am so thankful for Tom and the way he honors his Priesthood that he holds so very close to him!  I am so very blessed to have five beautiful children... That I love no matter what with all my heart! I am thankful for daughter-in-laws and a son-in-law..with out them...Tom and I would not have these beautiful beautiful grand children!!!

Our family is so very far from perfect..but what I do know is...

We are all so blessed!

We have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives!

Without this I am not sure where I would be! The trials we each endure would be unbearable at times!

I am just so thankful that I can partake of the Atonement! With out this there would be no hope for me!!

So at this time of year and always it is my prayer for Tom and I, and my family that we all may look at the blessings small and big and give thanks for each one! To learn from the trials we have. To be the best examples to our children and grandchildren. I think one of the best ways to show our gratitude is to teach these little kids of HIM!!

Five Weeks From Now....Just Thinking....

I was just thinking today in five weeks Anziano N. Rhett Scheurn will be home! It is a happy sad! I will miss the Wednesday excitement I get from Rhett's  emails and the beautiful pictures! I will miss the missionary spirit in our home! There is much I will miss from this last 24 months! We all have grown in ways we never thought we could! I just have to say....

I am so grateful for the hard, selfless work Rhett has given! I could not be more proud of Anziano Scheurn and ALL the missionaries serving in Italy ast this time as the Temple is being built!

I could not let my gratitude end here! I am so thankful for ALL of the missionaries that have gone before and after Anziano Scheurn!!!! Thank you for all you have given in building up HIS kingdom though out this world!!

I love you all!  

Miss My "Kent"!!!

WOOOOAHH!! Tamy and Tom Scheurn... How are you guys???

Things have been great, my blood exams got a lot better... not the Beeeeest.. but better, hum...........79%!

I have been working all day long, and school, I wanna know when can we skype.. maybe twice a month? once a week? WE NEED TO TALK  FREQUENTLY!!!!!!

yeahh.. my heart are doing really good too hahahaha I love leticia she is the cutest girl ever.. we are doing really good she is really making me happy.

My dad still THE WORST, he does NEVER stops making people laugh... gosh, he is just like tom scheurn.

My mom is doing ok too, she did a little surgery but.. everything is fine! My sisters are doing ok either.

I passed in front of a mormom church last week. but they are open only at 9 pm on sundays.

The black vans you gave it to me when I was there.. no joking IT IS THE BEST 121344543656780%

I miss so many thing... Tom scheurn, Tamy Scheurn, Walker Scheurn, JOE JOE, Posey, Blake, Erin, Melanie, Tanya...and all the kids... neither boone smelling hahahahahaha and all the kids... woah thats makes me sad! =[ 

I miss Tom Scheurn's pancakes, Joe Joe's mash potatoes, Tamy Scheurn's pasta with rice and cinnamon.......uffa

food? jalapeno chips, candy, tortillas,Ranch mexican food, taco hell, junk in the box, choco..........ok ok ok ok...ALRIGHT! lets stop right now!!! RIGHT NOOW?(voice) OOOOOOMMMMMGGGGGG!!! how can I talk about this right now?? hungry?? NOOOOOO NOT hungry just starving hahaha

How's everything and everyone? good? I hope so!

My Eternal Cowboy!! 57 Years Old!!!

This pictures is so us!! He wears cowboy boots, I wear blingy flip flops!!!

But we love and adore each other since he, was 17 and I was 15!!!

I remember our first kiss, and here it is over 38 years later and I still love to kiss him! (most of the time)

Posey was so sweet she wanted Birthday pictures of her dad and some how she talked me into letting her take my picture! It was not easy though! I would rather have a root canal before a picture! Posey even did my make up. She said I needed to be a little more adventuresome, so she gave a little "smokey eye" look is what a think she called it!! What the heck is "smokey eyes"! I just have say I am grateful for the pictures with the birthday boy but....It will be a long time before I do this again!!  

Tom is natural in front of the camera or should I say.....He LOVES to have his picture taken so the Birthday boy always looks good! Who would of ever thought that Tom Scheurn would be as handsome today as he was when he was seventeen!!
